TBR Feature is the chance for me to, every Wednesday, pick one of my unread books and discuss it: why I picked it up, when I'll get round to reading it, if I'm still interested in it at all etc.
Talon by Julie Kagawa
If you know me then you know that dragons are one of my favourite fantastical creatures. I even wrote a story featuring a dragon during creative writing at primary school, so you know I'm not making it up when I say I'd love to have my one as a pet.
Obviously that's not possible, so I have to make do with books about dragons. Which is fine. Doubly fine when said books about dragons are written by one of your favourite authors. I've loved all of the Julie Kagawa books I've read (admittedly not many) and can't wait to dive into her dragon series. I know she's the master of vampires, and I trust her with fairies, so her dragons have to be good.
Now I will admit, I do prefer dragons that are just dragons, with no shape-shifting abilities, but I'm also interested in the magic and lore behind dragons that have human forms. I haven't read much else about these kinds of dragons but it'll be interesting to see how this book - and the rest of the series - tackles it, but I'm sure it'll be enjoyable no matter what happens. Because it's dragons, for goodness' sake.

Have you read Talon?
I've heard some great things about this one Charlotte, so I can't wait to see what you think of it. :) I'll definitely be on the lookout for your review! <3
