TBR Feature is the chance for me to, every Wednesday, pick one of my unread books and discuss it: why I picked it up, when I'll get round to reading it, if I'm still interested in it at all etc.
Split Second by Sophie McKenzie
Split Second by Sophie McKenzie
This was one of those 'I saw it in the Works as part of the three for £5 deal and was vaguely interested in it so picked it up because why not' purchases.
I know next to nothing about this book - the synopsis is rather vague - and I hadn't really heard of it before I saw it sat on the shelf. As I looked further into it, I got a Slated vibe from it, and seeing as I really liked that trilogy I thought that this wouldn't be too bad.
It's not high up on my list so I don't think I'll be getting to it in the near future, but it's waiting for me. I'm hoping that when I do get around to it, it'll be a quick, easy read. I also hope that if I like it I won't be too let down by the sequel, if I decide to give it a go, because Split Second sounds like it'll be action packed, and action is usually followed by blah.
Have you read Split Second?
The Works = life ;)
ReplyDeleteI can see why you picked this one up, the cover is really intriguing. Can't wait to hear what you think after you finally read it.
